...that's where I'll be.
As a girl who spent her entire childhood near an ocean, I have to say that the hardest thing about living in the midwest is the lack of salt water and sea air, and every once in a while I need a little beach time to keep me feeling centered and happy.
So I'm off to sunny California for a few days of beach combing—these are from my last trip—love how the sand is still clinging to them
...for some girl time with a good friend, and of course some seaside knitting.
I'll meet you back here in a few days—a little more relaxed and sun-kissed—see you soon!
xoxo~

Lucky! I just got back from CA which is where I'm from and I have to agree, the hardest part of living in the midwest is the lack of sunshine and sea air. Enjoy your trip!
ReplyDeleteLucky Duck! Have a great restorative time; no doubt that you deserve it... Please, breathe a sea breeze in for me? xo - Annri
ReplyDeleteOh Alison - That's wonderful. We summer on Cape Cod and can't imagine life without a beach. Enjoy, relax, and let us know what you knit. I have been searching for a wrap to knit for those cool beach evenings. I'm thinking Clapotis ..........
ReplyDeleteSoak up that sun now. It does wonders for you (Vitamin D!!)

ReplyDeleteI grew up near the sea and now live far away from it and miss it every day - I hope you have a wonderful trip and enjoy all those beach moments! Emily x
